As an association run by volunteers we have limited resources so any general queries about insects, bees and beekeeping may not be answered in a timely manner, so if you need a quick answer to your query then please use a book or a internet search instead.

 

We cannot identify insects over the phone, so please use the IDENTIFICATION CHART and read what action to take. We have taken great care to ensure there is sufficient information on the identification chart to enable a lay person to make an accurate identification of bumblebees, wasps, hornets and honey bees.

 

You may need to contact someone other than Leeds Beekeepers Association so please follow the information on the IDENTIFICATION CHART

 

Please note that Leeds Beekeepers Association does not remove or rehome bumblebees as this is rarely successful, nor do we deal with wasps or hornets.
